If ME has no option or can’t get his software switched to text then plain
text sounds like what to do unless Les you can’t get rid of the baggage??

You could very well read all e-mail messages as text. I see you use Mozilla
for e-mailing (e.g. something like Thunderbird or so). For MS Office (MS
Outlook), there is the program SafeXP from http://theorica.net , it tells
Outlook to read all e-mail messages as text.
