Two texts, one cyber and one hard. The cyber text is Tom Sheehan’s
Heidegger web-site:  http://www.stanford.edu/dept/relstud/She…. Sheehan has
functioned as sort of a Heidegger archeologist and archivist over the
years and has been very generous with his finds. There’s
Heidegger-Husserl correspondence on the site from early on, which
reveals the dynamics of the relationship as expressed […]

In the 1983 movie, The Big Chill, the friends of the departed suicide played ‘You Can’t Always Get What You Want” by the Rolling Stones at his funeral.. This made think of Bach as a popular musician - Sebastian on the keyboards!

This context and the movie generally reminded me of the disorder called ‘abulia,’ […]

hello mortals, whilst listening to the divine Handel’s opera, Berenice,
Queen of Egypt, this enigmatic thought escaped, and so I thought I’d share
my nonsense with you lot:
At this time of man and world, the greatest development of mankind would
consist in, though knowing that he could and how to, man did not develop.
The meaning of the […]

I found this article which summarizes Faye’s book and could probably
answer your question.

John wrote recently:

Hi John, yes, but the problem for me is not how philosophers and thinkers
are treated as such (whether by other thinkers, journos, ignoramuses,
politicos or sensationalists etc) but whether the question (as […]

Yeh, I’ve never been too fussed with Faye’s historical/political
interpretations of Heidegger snippets, he knows how to push the right
[sic] buttons for the Heidegger Nazi publishing genre and is rewarded
with lots of press and controversy which is great for selling books.
The NY Times is likewise just a publishing business and journos love
whacking a bee hive […]

Thanks. From the article it looks like he’s picking a passage here and there from the GA to create his interpretation of what Heidegger really meant, but there’s isn’t anything that’s unpublished.
I checked klostermann.de, and the only unpublished lecture course from the 30s is Band 35 Der Anfang der abendländischen Philosophie (Anaximander und Parmenides) (Sommersemester […]
