Here are examples of the ten commandments in the NT: http://www.truthontheweb.org/nt10com.htm

I did not say they cannot be interpreted as commandments, esp. in a linguistically
enlightened era, but then we are already halfway war. The vine does not command the
branches. The branches’ listening to the vine cannot be the receiving of orders (but of
life), because then the branches die, and the vine too.
Both belong together, and listening makes no sense without this belonging. Commandment
comes into play once the sense of belonging, charis/Scheu, is gone.

what an intense insult to let one’s gods depend on commanding. but what a transparent
trick it is.

“The essential word is not commandment, not order, not annunciation, not promise and not
‘doctrine’.” (Parmenides GA54, p. 100)
