The “masses” is one more sign of the unbridled power of quantity.
It is all illusional, and billions are used for the illusion.
Nietzsche was blamed - Huysmans probably too - because he would be
aristocratic, elitist, but as seen before (by who?), Nietzsche
means the ‘masses’ producing publicity: . Of course it is fatal to
let ‘everyone’ decide. One can always hide behind them, when sthing
goes wrong. Congo is a result of ‘freedom’ too, as is legal prostitution.
Now Germany and other countries are blamed for it, but after destryoing it,
they set up their standards, so that ‘freedom’ only implies exploitation.
First all order is abolished, then there is room for effective fundamentalism.
Always these two phases can be discerned. It is also directly related to
the capacity to proceed by way of contradictions. Philosophy becomes just the
founding of deceit. AT THE SAME TIME, Aristotle is adduced as means to discern
the contradictory, but the same Aristotle is measured by ONTIC science, as it is
factually now, to get rid of him. Modern ’skepticism’ on the one hand blamed,
and a second later used against the fundament Aristotle. Such deceit is unsavable,
because grown in nihisist ground.
So Tympan’s accusation towards Malcom and me, that WE would be introducing politics,
is also the opposite of truth. The philosophy coming from America, is all hidden politics,
meant to disharm philosophy. Everything just chattering of illusions. What is precisely
needed: social practice etc.
Huysmans was one of the oversharp seeers of this nothing arriving. I remember the ending
of his book as one of the blackest i’ve read. Afterwards, he said he stood before the
choice between suicide and catholicism.
