Short answer, no. Long answer … totally not.

You know most of us don’t much discuss Heidegger any more. How did this mission statement come about anyway? Did anybody regularly posting actually contribute to its making?


I adapted it from the Spoon list statement, and it remains what it constantly is and has been over the last decade. Whether or not you consider the bulk of current postings to have anything to do with Heidegger I myself am only interested in going forward with this online project as a Heidegger writing project. Otherwise it makes no sense whatsoever to me. And while the list seems to have settled into a polemic cycle I still find much that is philosophically interesting to me and am looking forward to returning to my writing.

But what are you suggesting by way of mission statements? I’d still be interested to hear what you’d like changed.
