Agreed - that’s even worse than choosing a conspicuously ideological list
of wars, chronically assuming the consequent by pre-casting them as
killings-to-maintain-power by mass murder, rape and dispossession, and then
asking for an explanation for how all this was ever one-sided.
My prediction for Malcolm’s next reply: “And the point is … what exactly?
How is my list of US-Britain-Nazi Germany one-sided? Weren’t we discussing
Israeli and Palestinian terror in reaction to overwhelming violence and
utter dispossession? I can only attribute your response to lack of
explanation of what you mean by “one-sided.” We shouldn’t murder our
neighbours’ children to maintain our lifestyles, don’t you think?”
