“Etwas Rätselhaftes, daß etwas ist als das, was es zugleich nicht ist.”
Martin Heidegger _Platon: Sophistes_ GA19:580

“Somewhat perplexing that something is as that which, at the same time, it
is not.” Martin Heidegger _Platon: Sophistes_

Jud:
Another piece of unsophisticated, vacuous, sibylline rubbish by a
self-appointed con-man who cravenly professed a special spiritual, philosophical and
political enlightenment. [see mental home episode and teaching ban.] Signifying
nothing, but designed to impress, such was the nature of this metaphysical
Nazi necromancer, with his deliberate avoidance of ontological specificity
contrived to sound wise, but saying and meaning absolutely nothing.

Dear Jud;
Before you go off half cocked with your politicisms and their reductions for
your convenience, the “that something is as that which, at the same time, it
is not,” aside from its philosophical and psychological cogency, is equally
reflected in modern physics as the nature of complementarity. Certainly it is
peplexing that the wave function and the mass of a sub nuclear particle
cannot be determined simultaneously but only one at a time.

Jud:
Bernard my old Brooklynite:
Utter cods wallop! *Wave function* is reificational gobble-de-gook* Waves do
not exist. Only moving, waving, material objects that re-locate from A to B
exist in such a manner. Whether Bernard is observed riding a bike or sitting
reading upon the toilet - it is the same Bernard.

The rule applies in physics as well as tranniedom - *If you don’t understand
it - reify it!* There is NO interrelation of reciprocity whereby one thing
supplements or depends on the other in the case of the particle mumbo-jumbo -
because there can be no interrelationship between the same object. The only
objects that can *interrelate with their *selves* are trannie schizoids who
believe that as well as the living embodied trannie there is a *trannie self*
with hangs on like grim death like an orphaned marmoset during the course of
their misunderstood lives.

Bernard:
It gives notice, however, that at the micro level of phenomena the macro
level of understanding, to which you appear to be limited, avoids the
uncertainty of existence.

Jud:
There IS NO ontological difference - the kooky *existence* does not exist -
only the objects exist - not *Their existence.*

Bernard:
Your totalitarian mode of thinking is thus locked in what William James
referred to as the “iron blocked” universe (of mind) of 19th century thinking,
nay, as pre-Newtonian in a reality (ontological) view.

Jud:
It is you that is frozen in the sepia coloured postures of the
late-nineteen-twenties confusion and haplessness, mindlessly smearing your metaphysical
palimpsest with the decomposed psycho-smegnum of the unspeakable Nazi
sympathiser Jung, beneath whose posterior lambency you lie back and sun-bathe.
Your well-hung hero was editor of the Zentralblatt für Psychotherapie, a
publication that eventually endorsed Mein Kampf as required reading for all
psychoanalysts - your reactionary writings suggest that you took your masters advice
and internalised every word. ;-)

Bernard
[quoting James] in The Athenaeum Library: James noted:

“Now, evidence of an external kind to decide between determinism and
indeterminism is, as I intimated a while back, strictly impossible to find. Let us
look at the difference between them and see for ourselves. What does
determinism profess?… It professes that those parts of the universe already laid
down absolutely appoint and decree what the other parts shall be. The future has
no ambiguous possibilities bidden in its womb; the part we call the present
is compatible with only one totality. Any other future complement than the
one fixed from eternity is impossible. The whole is in each and every part, and
welds it with the rest into an absolute unity, an iron block, in which there
can be no equivocation or shadow of turning…. Indeterminism, on the
contrary, says that the parts have a certain amount of loose play on one another,
so that the laying down of one of them does not necessarily determine what the
others shall be. It admits that possibilities may be in excess of
actualities, and that things not yet revealed to our knowledge may really in themselves
be ambiguous. Of two alternative futures which we conceive, both may now be r
eally possible; and the one becomes impossible only at the very moment when
the other excludes it by becoming real itself. Indeterminism thus denies the
world to be one unbending unit of fact. It says there is a certain ultimate
pluralism in it; and, so saying, it corroborates our ordinary unsophisticated
view of things. To that view, actualities seem to float in a wider sea of
possibilities from out of which they are chosen; and, somewhere, indeterminism
says, such possibilities exist, and form a part of truth.” (Quoted as it

Jud:
Firstly My approach to what I publish is catholic. I provide space for
alternative views, for I have no fear of them. Nazis like Goebbels, Heidegger and
Jung [had Jung been in a position of censorship that is ] believed in
burning books and thus destroying opinions that differed from their own.

As for the determinism/indeterminism debate - I challenge you to provide
JUST ONE instance and provide evidence which demonstrates that you or anybody
else now or at any time in history ever made any decision which was not a
direct catenulate result of antecedal influences.

The floor is yours. As usual the SAS jet sits waiting on the tarmac ready
for its take-off to the Venice of the North. The red carpet in de Kungliga
slottet i centrala Stockholm is waiting to be unrolled in H.M. Konungens
officiella residens.
There stands the king impatiently fiddling with his bow tie and consulting
the time on his rolex wrist watch, nervously awaiting the moment to hand
over your well earned Nobelpriset for *Services to Indeterminism.*

*Where is Bernard the Brooklynite?* he asks a red-faced official.

*He promised to show up after his treatise on indeterminism has been
published on the Heidegger an Archos list your majesty.*

*Bring me another akvavit - a large one! And e-mail the man to get his ass
over here DUBBELT KVICK!
