Brief, because of work pressures, here’s a little intermezzo:
In Heidegger’s essays on Holderlin’s hymns, he indicates this:
“… wherever theology arises, the god is already in flight.”
OK, let’s go analogously (dangerous, I know, but fun) with:
“wherever sociology arises, community is already in flight.”
{In the inception of sociology with Tonnies’ difference of gemeinschaft &
gesellschaft, the concept gemeinshaft is already vergesellschaftung — with
apologies for bad german}
and
“wherever ecology arises, the home(-land = earth = moon…) is already in
flight.”
{because it (the earth and all homes in all their forms) is merely valued
and enlogic’d and thus no longer respected (as and what it is)}

Michael,
Your list can be expanded to everything which is now, not in order to exercise cynicism,
but on the contrary, to offer a possibility to the billions going down, what it is that
is happening to them. It might even be so, that, like in the tale of the iced forest by
Stifter, the danger can be seen to have reached a point where it can only collapse and SO
be the saving itself. While, as long as it is not seen, desert and terror continue growing.
The first step towards spotting this dimension of our world, you made by adding:
Oh, and of course, the most relevant:
“wherever ontology arises, be-ing is already in flight.”
{be-ing can only be revealed as absent(ing) by ontology; this is how be-ing
presences within metaphysical discourse, as hidden, but not nothing}
Heidegger stresses that SuZ was written from the experience of the oblivion of Being,
so indeed: “Time and Being” on the title page presupposes that ‘time’ and ‘Being’ are
nothing anymore. This was after the first European civil war. After the second, which
was already brought to Europe from the new centers of power, insight was grown further.
In an essay, which was long held back, because above all truth could no longer be tolerated,
it reads:
“Das Wesende der Gefahr ist das Seyn selbst, insofern es der Wahrheit seines Wesens mit
der Vergessenheit dieses Wesens nachstellt.” (Einblick in das was ist: Die Gefahr;
GA79, p. 62)
“What the danger properly is, is Beying itself, insofar it haunts the truth of its essence
with the oblivion of this essence.” (Insight into what-is)
- Beying is the danger, NOT technology. The illusion that we can master the dangers of a
technological world technologically, is the consequence of the oblivion of Being.
As soon as we flee the illusion, the ice is seen to be melting. One is no longer subject
to terror, but can accept ourselves as the mortals. (Furcht vs. Angst)
As Heidegger states in this context: everything, also and esp. the way technology is being
represented, as means to an end, is determined by this all-dissolving trait.
