My own view is that galleries should be FORCED
to provide at least half the hanging space where anybody can hang a painting
for at least a week and then they are all cleared out to make room for
another lot throughout the year. Apart from historical pieces the public
could be
encouraged to vote on which works should have more display time. At the
moment - the choice is left to effete middle-class nerds with a bourgeois
aesthetic
agenda to decide what is hangable and what is not.
Dear Jud;
Where have you been, turkey? Don’t you know that art is dead
here and globally over since Andy Windhole went POP. Art went POP and is now
in the hands of the people. May it rest in pieces and in the company of a
Campell’s Soup can as a representative of the art of the people. Indeed, you are a
prophet long after the fact. But I appreciate your “galleries should be
FORCED ” as befitting your Nazi style perogative and verifies to me that your
eliminative determinism by far out-heidegger’s heideggerisms, or your notion of
Heidegger, if not it is the after the fact (sic) prototype to its style *in the
name of the people.* But it seems you are a johnny comes lately as a promoter
of the death of art. Wake up, wake up, lad. A prophet after the fact is a
moron except here in the USA as a radio commentator where POP (=”point of
purchase”) rules art, religion, science and media in the eliminativist doctrine that
nothing exists but the object of the senses however dressed in the green of the
almighty world ruling buck. Or didn’t you know that Wallmark qua China
production has become the Church of America? wake up, wake up Lad, see to the to
the main braces or you will languish in the stays of the past and like the rest
of the world posture in memesis
of their dreaded land of the free.
sincerely;
Bernard
