the first part’s an objection set in quotes - that communism “acts in
contradiction to past historical experience” because it “abolishes all
religion, and all morality, instead of constituting them on a new basis” as
was the case throughout all history…. and his answer: that religion,
morality and such have always existed throughout history precisely because
class exploitation has always existed; therefore when the latter disappears,
the former will “completely vanish”. Hence, no preservation of morality at
all. How’s that pointed the wrong way?
