Heidegger

Hi,

I’m thinking of moving this list again as the current uni server is
now completely unsupported and well past its mean time between
failure … meaning that:

1. It could very well have a hardware failure anytime between now and
the next 5 years…
2. When (not if) it fails the school is not going to resurrect it (ie
pay for hardware and servicing).
3. It will be difficult for me to gain access to the failed server,
resurrect it’s backup drive, reboot (if possible) and save the
heidegger.mbox (now ~135mb).

So since I’ve got my own server up and running now’s probably as good
a time as any to port the list over. In fact I’ve got the archive
running already at:

All I need to do is subscribe everyone currently on the list,
redirect the soca mailman, and we’re away again.

What say you all?
