What conclusion do you draw from this: that 1) the Church is afflicted with

proliferating lifestyle in its own right and not dependent on the R.C. Church of any
other relgious or secular institution?
The question, accordingly, is directed at the nature and propriety of
homosexuality. Is it an “atrocity” or not and by what and whose criteria?

The language is not mine - it is the language of the mostly ex-priests and
Catholic journalists who penned the articles. I have nothing against
homosexuals. What they do to each other in private is their own business.

What I AM against (like all parents) is the fact that the Catholic churches
have become the hunting grounds of child molesters, who, after abusing
little children, are able to get up in a pulpit and preach *Christian* morality,
then dispense the blood and body of Jesus Christ to the unsuspecting parents
of the same children whilst taking holy communion.

Having said all that which is bad enough - we now have to face the
insufferable hypocrisy of a certain well known Catholic on this list bombarding the
readership with a constant stream of anti-Islamic propaganda regarding the
brainwashing of Moslem children against western values, many of whom have seen
their parents or friends blown to bits by allied bombs, or as victims of the
religious turmoil which the illegal war against Iraq has dragged in its wake.

Whilst his own perverted clergy are carrying out far worse abuses on
Catholic children [and possibly even his own kids if he has any] not one word of
recognition, distancing, regret or condemnation is forthcoming - there is only
a mysterious and disturbing silence. If the organised and widespread sexual
attacks carried out by so many of the priesthood was not the work of men
acting as representatives of the church, but rather had been a network of secular
pederasts and perverts, the the police and the FBI would have been called in
and the organisation would have been smashed and banned years ago, and the
guilty [plus anyone who had been involved in covering up their activities]
removed from society and given long prison sentences.
