yes, a damn good answer, but in having ’sense’, by what bearings do you
define direction, and so we are back to merely drifting, which is I guess
the conundrum of metaphysics. Oh and I’m not a raft on the high seas, which
makes things even more difficult. And strictly speaking even if we could
through ’sense’ find direction in more than just a mere random sense, we
would still all be first and foremost ‘drifters’. But given the nautical
theme of your post, do you know why the Doc told me ‘my tide is going out’.
Some help there would be good.
