Perhaps it’s just Valentine’s Day. Thanks to everyone (including even my
arch-enemy Jud). You’ve all been highly stimulating at times since 1996, and I
mention this in my first footnote. I would never have been compelled to
develop my philosophical language in English without all the crap you’ve
thrown at me for years on end. (My last three books were published in German,
and that was probably a waste of time.)
There’s something to be said for freelance, and perhaps a “professional
philosopher” is a contradicto in adjecto.
