Modern quantum physics even shows that sub-atomic forces are not
only interpreted by the point of view, but actually change forms depending
on the viewer.
Hi Les, according to Heisenberg, “sub-atomic forces” (whatever they are…
or rather, what do you mean by the term?) do not change form themselves
(whatever they are), but the picture/image/model the observer infers from
the observational matrix depends on the nature and conditions of the
observation; and this is similar to the notions embodied in Relativity
(e.g., it is simply not worthy of the token “truth” to simply say (something
like) the earth orbits around the sun; this is only confirmed by an observer
some distance from the earth and not moving with (or in parallel with) the
earth(’s motion), or by some (overheated) observer on the surface of the
sun; an observer on the surface of the earth will correctly confirm, rather,
that the sun vaults across the earth daily. The point here is: whichever
observational confirmation one goes with (whatever the motion of the
observer), the ‘real’ phenomenon is the invariant (independent of the
relative motions of observer and observed) ‘law of motion’ of material
bodies in spacetime, i.e., that which is utterly independent of the
conditions and state of observation itself (which is the whole point of
Einstein’s advent in Newtonian physics). In that sense, the statements of
observers on the surface of the sun, the surface of the earth, etc, are
equivalent and equally ‘true’ but are merely correct observations and not
the ‘truth’).
In the end, this comes down to the difference between a
picture/image/model/concept (etc) and the what the picture (et al) is a
picture (et al) of. And this begs the question of what ‘whatness’ is and
what ‘of’ is and what ‘is’ is, and how science develops this ‘is’ and the
isness of science (how science sciences). The question of be-ing.
And, hip hop happy new year to all who sail in this ’sophical ship of non
fools
love and that
