Yes, Tudor, but also consider this: that (the pursuit of, engagement in,
etc) reason is itself a passion (of philosophy, science, etc)… it’s
perhaps the *balance* of (submission, dominance, etc) passions (including
reason, will, sex, etc) that matters… and, of course, the horny question
of *what* performs at the ‘passion mixing desk’… and whether this
balancing act(ing) is yet an other passion.
