Hi all,

the website is more or less up and running nicely now and there are 6
authors/editors registered. If anyone would like to post an essay or
use the ‘Gerede’ category to converse with the blogosphere please
feel free to register, all I ask is that the contributions have some
form of relevance to discussing Heidegger. You are free to decide
what that relevance is. If you are unsure how to add a category to
publish your post to, just email me and I’ll add it for you. Any
editing problems using the WordPress interface can also be discussed
in the WordPress help forum.

I’m available on MSN Messenger as zeug_gezeugt at hotmail.com - AIM as
zeug66 - and ICQ as 287126313 if you’d like real time support.

I’ve also added tags and all editors can add their own on any page
via the post info box at the bottom of the post. The point of tags is
to add keywords to a post that link it up with other similarly tagged
posts, eventually this forms a really nice tag cloud form of
interactivity and a very lateral way of browsing the site. Please
keep your tags to one word and relevant to the post, and don’t hit
the minus link to delete others tags.

Finally, the Heidegger FAQ is also online and I’ve added some
introductory text from the Wikipedia Heidegger page to get a start.
Please treat this as merely a very basic start on an index page for a
wider FAQ and again feel free to register to the wiki and edit it as
you see fit. MichaelP, you were interested in maintaining an FAQ, do
you want moderator privileges on the wiki to get started? You can
protect pages, lead discussions about site structure, moderate
editing conflicts and if necessary put an IP ban on vandals.

Malcolm
