You were speaking of “reason” and here you speak of critical philosophy. Which made me think of Heidegger’s The Principle of Reason which is a penetrating critical philosophical discussion of this concept “reason” which Cassirer treats most uncritically. On the contrary Cassirer takes the unproblematic meaningfulness of “reason”… on faith.
